Sub Antarctic fur seals in the marina don’t haul up onto the rocks of the Groyne all that often here in Albany – but when they do, it’s a special moment for all!
Given it’s illegal to harass or disturb the seal, I packed my zoom lens with 1.4 Teleconverter to give myself some distance to grab a few shots quickly.
It’s amazing to witness this seal just snoozing, ignoring everyone in the vicinity seemingly oblivious to it all! He didn’t even open an eye !
